This is a review of the Aeroo pro drone. It is everything I expected so far and then some. Still learning best settings etc. for my use. I absolutely love it and it is a great price point for its capabilities. I had it in the Bolivar peninsula at Crystal Beach for 4 days and it is a game changer for surf fishing. I flew out baits/weights up to about .75 pounds and longest drop was about 1000 feet. (wanted to leave some line on the reel in case of drag for a big fish 1200 feet) I will list below what I love, what is not working, and recommendations for future: Love: battery life, set up time, stability in wind (flew baits out in 18 mph cross/head winds no problem), control, accuracy, ease of use, reliability (so far) fast charging and general performance has exceeded my anticipation. Needs a fix: bait drop hard button did not work for me, had to use phone interface to drop bait which is hard to see with sun glare. Also, gimbal protector re-installation is a little tricky as there are no instructions and leaves you not sure what position the camera should be in when installing. (don't want to break it) Recommendations for future: phone holder is pressing buttons on my Iphone 15 pro max if not in just perfectly. maybe a holder with optional inserts for phones to avoid this. Sun visor attachment would be great, you would sell them on every unit. Replaceable battery for controller would be nice. Eventually that battery will wear out to the point where you don't trust time, and then you have to buy another controller. red/green nav lights that can be switched on or off for night time bait drops.
